Professional Background

Denise Szalkowski serves as the Administrative Assistant for the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program at St. Bonaventure University. She brings more than 30 years of experience in higher education administration, executive support, human resources, event coordination, communications, and project management. Throughout her career, she has supported university leadership, faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders through strategic planning and complex event management. Her experience includes coordinating large-scale university events and initiatives, including commencement ceremonies, accreditation activities, presidential reviews, board meetings, conferences, and special events. Denise is also an active patient advocate and volunteer leader, helping to advance awareness, education, and support for individuals affected by kidney cancer.
