Professional Background

Dr. Heidi Henry is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has counseling experience in both school and clinical mental health settings. She has been a counselor educator since January 2018 and has taught in both online and face-to-face school and clinical mental health counseling programs.

Dr. Henry became a counselor educator in order to make the broadest impact she saw possible in the counseling field. She desires to train counselors to be self-aware and open-minded in order to work ethically and competently with clients and students from diverse backgrounds.

In her spare time, Dr. Henry enjoys gardening, walking on local nature trails, and spending time with her husband and two rescue dogs.
