This course introduces students to methods for analyzing data residing in firms’ customer databases. The first half of the course focuses on descriptive and financial tools. We will discuss ways to profile customer segments based on their profitability to the firm, estimate individual customers’ lifetime value, and see how this value can be altered by promotional efforts.
This course provides an introduction to the field of data visualization. Students learn basic visualization design principles to produce meaningful displays of quantitative and qualitative data in order to enhance the managerial decision making process. Students will learn various techniques for visualizing sequential, text-based, geospatial, hierarchical data and large data sets.
This course introduces best practices in project management, the study of concepts, and tools of project management. Topics will include project scope, project time, project cost, procurement management, project quality, project risk, project resources, project communications, human resource considerations, and how to be an effective project manager.
While understanding accounting, financial and economic theory is vital to any professional in those fields, it is no longer a sufficient condition for success. All new graduates looking to start a career in finance or accounting must be proficient in Excel. This course is specifically targeted at helping aspiring professionals acquire those skills.
This course provides an in-depth investigation of the human side of management, examining how individuals, teams, and organizations function and interact in the workplace. Emphasizing both theory and application, the course explores the psychological and social processes that shape behavior in organizational settings. Through case studies, discussions, and in-class exercises, students will understand how to influence organizational outcomes, foster a positive organizational culture and implement organizational change. Students will also assess the opportunities and challenges presented by artificial intelligence (AI) in management, including its influence on team dynamics, leadership, and strategic decision-making in global and technologically evolving environments.

Dr. Michael Gallagher is a shining example of this. He has four degrees, most recently a Ph.D. in Economics from Fordham University and a long and successful career trading capital markets. He is currently teaching 13 undergraduate and graduate business courses across St Bonaventure, Fairfield, and Fordham University.

Our MBA is flexible. We recommend discussing your goals and experience with an enrollment advisor because you have the option to double up on courses and may be eligible to transfer credits. Most students complete their degree in 20 - 24 months.
The cost of your MBA will depend on your background and experience. You will be told how many total credits you are required to take during the enrollment process.
